Ideal Homes!

Since our last post we have had a very busy few weeks. We displayed our services at The Galway Ideal Homes Show in May at The Galway Bay Hotel and more recently at The Permanent TSB Ideal Homes Show at The RDS in Dublin. We had a very favourable response to our stand with huge interest in our Window Sound Proofing work.

Sound Proofing

Meantime, a number of window 'Sound Proofing' projects have been completed including Period homes in Dublin - on Bath St, Cabinteely, Foxrock, Richmond Hill in Rathmines, Palmerston Rd, Dartry Rd, Rathmines, Newtown Park Avenue, Blackrock, Parnell St, Eden Quay, Arran Quay and Lombard St, where road noise was an issue.

Sound Proofing of bedroom windows:- phase one of three, has been completed on The Ashley Hotel, Coburg St in Cork City, where again, road noise, emanating from the busy street was making it uncomfortable for guests.

Secondary Glazing Benefits

Co. Meath, Co. Wicklow and Co. Sligo homeowners,  who had single glazed hardwood windows - which were too good to remove, yet were very draughty with cold spots around the window openings and leaking lots of expensively-generated heat, availed of the double glazing benefits of our Secondary Glazing with total success. Our Co. Sligo client had casement - open outward windows in their 1970's home, while the Co. Wicklow and Co Meath homeowners had Up & Down Sliding Sash type in their Period homes. All three have commented on the huge savings on fuel consumption, while having much warmer and quieter homes as a result of our work.

Flyscreens for Summer

As an impending hot summer approaches, we have had lots of interest in our De Lux Patented Flyscreens from people in the  food sector, farm businesses, offices, schools and private dwelling owners nationwide. Fitting Flyscreens on window openings and external doors is the healthy way to "enjoy fresh air- without having to use sticky bands and tapes or aerosols to keep flies out"!!! Most recently we fitted our Flyscreens in Temple St, Children's Hospital extension, Mayo General Hospital, UCHG Hospital, Galway, Jury's Inn Hotel, Galway, Nursing Homes in -  Bray, Wexford, Clare, Enniscorthy, Rathcoole, Navan, Naas, Donegal and Sligo.
