Most window noise complaints — traffic, pubs, late-night deliveries, aircraft, barking dogs — can be cut dramatically with a properly engineered window sound proofing system. We’ve been doing exactly this since 1989.
Our sound proofing is built on the same secondary glazing platform: a second slim-framed pane fitted inside your existing window. The combination of the original window, a sealed air gap and a second carefully specified pane interrupts the path of airborne noise and absorbs energy that would otherwise reach the room.
The details behind the system.
In most Irish homes and buildings, the single weakest acoustic element is the window. Walls, doors and floors are usually far better at stopping noise than even modern double glazing. That's why upgrading the window — rather than tearing out walls — is almost always the right place to start.
Every project begins with a free site survey. We listen to the actual noise in the actual room at the time of day that bothers you. We then specify the right inner pane and frame system for that specific situation — and quote you a fixed price.
Clients consistently describe the difference as dramatic — sleep returns, conversation is easier, TVs and radios can be turned down. Many also notice the rooms feel warmer, because the same system that blocks sound also blocks draughts and slows heat loss.
We've sound-proofed bedrooms in city-centre hotels, wards in working hospitals and offices on Ireland's busiest streets. The systems are designed to keep performing in high-traffic environments year after year, with no ongoing maintenance.
